Old Course

The original Rod Whitman design. The Old Course is a Tour tested, pure inland links course winding in and out of the Wolf Creek bed. Each hole provides a variety of strategical options for you to discover. Creative shot-making and precision are the key to playing your best on the Old Course.

The land, located in a sand belt, perfectly suited for the type of golf course the owners wanted to build. Late that fall, with course designer Rod Whitman, they walked the land and started to develop some ideas for what was to become “A Legend”.

A fixture for 13 years on the Canadian Tour, Wolf Creek hosted the Alberta Open, receiving world wide publicity and exposure as one of the world’s best courses by young touring professionals

Links Course

Rod Whitman gives us the Evolution of Old World golf design with the Links Course. Cut through vast natural sand dunes and deeper off the tee, the Links Course demands the best from all areas of your game. Additional fairway width gives the Links Course beautiful rolling contours unique to sand belt golf courses.

Both Courses feature 4 sets of tee boxes to accommodate all skill levels. We embrace the tradition of golf in it’s purest form, where playing conditions are our measure of quality rather than just the colour of the grass. We strive to provide you with a true links golf experience with our country hospitality here in the heart of Alberta.

Here are how our pin placements work:

  • Tee Marker at the Front of Tee Box = Pin at Back of Green
  • Tee Marker in the Middle of Tee Box = Pin in Middle of Green
  • Tee Marker at the Back of Tee Box = Pin at Front of Green

Of course, like many Albertans, my favorite when it comes to local inland links is the one and only Wolf Creek. The shaping on both courses is absolutely stunning.
