What Makes Wolf Creek Golf Resort Unique

In this clip, Play Golf Alberta interviews Ryan Vold, Director of Golf at Wolf Creek Golf Resort. Ryan talks about how the design of Wolf Creek makes it unique in Alberta and Western Canada. The Old Course, which was designed by Rod Whitman in 1983, pioneered a new style of golf course design in Alberta. Just over 20 years later, Rod returned in 2007 to design the Links Course and Ryan refers to it as the “evolution of old-world golf design.”
The links course returns to a more traditional style of course design. With a stay and play promotion in place at Wolf Creek, golfers will be able to spend more time exploring this truly unique course which combines the best of old-world links and new-world amenities. As Ryan says, “It’s traditional and it’s something you won’t see anywhere else in Alberta or Western Canada.”
