Gord Montgomery of Inside Golf interviews Laura Witvoet, Head Golf Pro and Director of the Golf Academy at Wolf Creek Golf Resort. Laura was the first woman from Alberta to play on the LPGA tour and she runs one of the highest ranked teaching facilities in the nation. The teaching facility at Wolf Creek features a six-hole practice loop, which is a great place for new players to practice their game without worrying about course marshals asking them to speed up or people playing into their game.

The teaching facility covers every facet of the game from full swing, to the short game, and the mental aspects of the game. “In our facility it is more like a game situation,” Laura mentions. “So it is more fun to practice.” The teaching facility offers two-day learn to play packages, as well as an introductory course specifically designed for women. At Wolf Creek the motto is: “learn to take your game to the course” and the teaching facility is designed to help any player at any level improve their game.
