I have been involved in the golf industry for the past 20 years. I started my career at Wolf Creek Golf Resort as a teenager during which time I was introduced to professional golf via the Alberta Open. The atmosphere of tour golf appealed to me greatly and shortly thereafter I attended University of Alberta to take a Bachelor of Commerce. During my summer holidays at University I caddied full time on the Canadian tour highlighted by wins at the 1992 TPC championship and the 1994 CPGA championship. Also, I have caddied at the AT & T Pebble Beach Pro Am and PGA Tour qualifying on several occasions. Being exposed to some of the best golfers in the world has given me a wealth of experience in my golf instruction career.
After graduation from the University of Alberta I began my career as an Assistant Professional. As an Assistant Professional I worked and taught lessons at Wolf Creek GR, Ponoka Community Golf Club, Lacombe Golf and Country Club and The Glendale. In 2006 I became the Head Professional at Wolf Creek Golf Resort. I have worked with players from the beginner level to professional tour players and have enjoyed and learned from all these experiences. I love the game dearly and am always available to share my opinions and experiences with anyone interested!

My father introduced me to the game of golf at a very early age. My first place of employment within the golf industry was at River Bend Golf Course in Red Deer when I was 14 years old. After a few summers of working in the industry I knew that I wanted to pursue a career that would allow me to enjoy golf all year round. For the next three years I worked at Nevada Bob’s alongside golf professionals Neil and Jimmy who helped prepare me for the next step in my career. In 2004, I took an Apprentice Professional position at the Lacombe Golf & Country Club. It was that year that I took my Play Ability Test (P.A.T) and passed. In the fall I began attending Red Deer College and working towards my Business Diploma.
I began my professional career at Lacombe, and with the assistance of Jay Anderson, began a junior league and lesson program. I have been teaching golf ever since. For the past two years, I have been employed at The Wolf Creek Golf Resort, where I currently run the Wolf Cubs Program for junior players.
I enjoy teaching lessons to all different levels of players and look forward to helping you with your golf game in the future.
