The land, located in a sand belt, perfectly suited for the type of golf course the owners wanted to build. Late that fall, with course designer Rod Whitman, they walked the land and started to develop some ideas for what was to become “A Legend”.

A fixture for 13 years on the Canadian Tour, Wolf Creek hosted the Alberta Open, receiving world wide publicity and exposure as one of the world’s best courses by young touring professionals
